It runs off the household hot water system circulating through the floor to provide constant heat. This type of warmth is more comfortable than traditional heating systems and does not create allergens.
Text Box: Each home is designed with a loft. Lofts provide interest as well as additional gathering areas to get away while not being away and expand the living space in each home.
Text Box: The exposed concrete slabs are acid-stained and sealed, providing a beautiful and unique floor for these homes. The radiant heat floor system keeps these floors warm to the touch in the winter and cool in the summer.

We also utilize glass walls and block to allow for maximum light and openness.
Text Box: The main living areas are pre-wired for audio speakers. Each living room is wired for surround sound with additional speaker wiring from the same location going to each deck, porch or balcony.
Text Box: Each room has a modular wiring jack that supports cable, internet, & telephone. All of this wiring terminates in a Patch Panel for expansion and modification, which is located for accessibility.

Text Box: Bamboo is chosen because it renews itself in 3-5 years, providing a very green building material that is highly durable and beautiful. The flooring used is a solid material that compares in hardness to most traditional oaks, and can be refinished in the same way as any solid wood flooring.
Text Box: Because of the uniqueness of design, most trim and molding are custom designed. Stair and loft railings are custom-designed as well using non-traditional materials.

Text Box: Each home is designed to be low maintenance for the homeowner. Pigment-dyed Stucco exterior combined with decorative steel siding, provides a low maintenance home. Soffits and Fascia are constructed of fiber cement board that has a longer life-span than wood.

Text Box: The insulated concrete walls provide a higher than average insulating value, and the large thermal mass of the concrete creates a thermal performance of the system that is well beyond any conventional construction methods. The thickness of the walls also allows for beautiful window seating areas.
Text Box: Inspired by the Not So Big House principles, small footprints and creative use of space goes into designing these homes. Each site is planned to maximize the passive solar potential for each home combined with the insulated concrete walls, these homes provide a high energy-efficiency.
